Ok, its official! RS 1.5 (RS 1 going Source) is actually going to happen! today ive built the very first alpha version for it, and i felt like doing something that i didnt do for years: open up a tester thread :-). So everybody, that wants to test alpha versions for RS1.5, apply in here! Even those, that are testers at the moment!

heh, sure thing guys :-). a little progress report: i got the menu system fully working (looks like good ol RS1) and i got the HUD background display without ugly blue parts, instead it displays translucent now :-) (yay! ;-)). next thing is removing those pink bits on the hud ^^.

However: Welcome aboard and:
a little progress! *g*. Up till now, the HUD is completely working and i managed to settle the ground for the models! cleared out all major issues, so now its time to build the conversion tool for them. afterwards, im gonna add basic gameplay and THEN its time for the first group of alpha testers to enter the fray :-D.

most likely, yes :-). atm the ragdolls are just a bit stiff ^^

well, i was discusing its visual efect with other ppl. its asically done, what it takes is doing these effects. thats also most of the coding work, that is left on RSS in general. the interation of the metaengine will make the coding easy, but the metaengine doesnt encode the effects.

Count me in, if you can stand the fact that my gaming life is secondary to meatspace and I can't always commit.
I've beta tested many a game, including lots of mainstream mmo's and a few half life mods like DoD and Natural Selection and I love 40k.
