there should be still our dedicated server available for the test release... we are currently on some kind of hiatus due to personal reasons of the remaining team. (studies and work related reasons) It'll change though. until then I'd ask for patience and wait for a new version :-).

well since youre copying doom there, my main concern would be that you capture wh40k as a setting :-). youre absolutely right with the imperial army there, because the doom soldiers and setting resemble if any of the wh40k races, then its the imperial army. the enemy being demons from hell in doom call for chaos of course, maybe khorne? maybe we have a new World Eaters related map coming there? that'd be cool :-).

your english seems to be good, dont worry.

what i mean is several steps:

1.) make sure you have the directory structure in place
2.) look for a directory called rspecies_new
3.) restart steam
4.) look for a new entry in your games list in steam

if all of these steps are done and you found everything as described, then you're ready to play.

that is really weird... i cant really help with it right now, but maybe our installer is broken by the new version of steam. I'd recommend to use a zipped package instead. while that usually is a bit more complicated it usually also just works ;-).

Hej Olimnuz :-). Great to read you! It's about the same issue with us... I have to finish my Master thesis and Eltharyon has his project deadlines at work. things will loosen up a bit by end of June I think :-).

well, it is fixing the sources for our maps, standardizing them and writing the scripts to automatically build them from the sources without having to start worldcraft and specifiying different configurations and so on... . in the end, we hope to write some more scripts that work on the standards and make it possible to convert the whole content in one go.

just try installing rs again. could be that the first time failed because steam wasnt installed

rather randomly stumbled. we have no manpower for organised bug hunting anymore. everything is currently on hold anyhow, except for eltharyon and his progress on mapping automation. i want to do a huge new full alpha release, but i need his result for that. otherwise im loaded with re-release of all our models (this time automatically generated and corrected to fix anim glitches and muzzleflashes). that automation process is part of our port to hl2, since we wouldnt want to do the bornig work of porting everything manually.

well that seems to aply for more and more people ^^. yet we are still debugging the metaengine for hl1. little progress for hl2 there... since im in terrible work overload these days.

KNOWN: roundend without proper restart seems to happen timeout. then the menues get switch through really fast.

causing actions:
Bahl: u suddenly have a load of points
Razielk: from capping i think
Bahl: ya well.. the time was up
Razielk: why is it waiting for me?
Razielk: i have chosen
Bahl raziel what did u last do before the round ended?
Razielk: i got killed
Bahl: as which class?
Razielk: then changed to a termi, i had the points before the round end
Razielk: HW marine with a HB
Razielk: i was just killing al
Bahl: what class was al?
Razielk: at that time i had just taken apoint
Razielk: hmmm marine sgt

caused effects:
=][=Apo. Alhaus: clock is on minus
=][=Apo. Alhaus: my eyes is dead but i can still fly around as a normal spec
Bahl: but the flying is all weird... same here
=][=Apo. Alhaus: yeah choppy


KNOWN: gametime ran out but mapchange didnt work, so the round got stuck in the middle of nowhere
