Alaitoc Eldar
The Eldar are one of the most ancient races that inhabit the Galaxy encountered
by humanity. They once ruled a Galaxy spanning empire but their race's sucess
and obsession with sensuality and extreme experience led to the Fall. The
psychic resonance of an entire race's extreme decadence created the Chaos God
Slaanesh within the Warp, who's catastrophic birth caused a tear in space,
creating the Eye of Terror and destroying the Eldar homeworlds. Today, the
Eldar are a scattered and dying race, limited mainly the gigantic spacecraft
known as Craftworlds. The Eldar are a tall but slight and swift race. Fleet of
foot, they can easily outpace human warriors.
Battle Cry
For the craftworld!
Classes
Farseer
Farseers follow the Path of the Seer. They are potent psykers, able to predict
possible futures and try to prevent anything which may somehow threaten Alaitoc
or the Eldar race. This makes the Eldar an unpredictable race, their aims and
goals enigmatic to humans. When they are fully unleashed Farseers' considerable
mental powers allow them to kill even the most armoured and experienced foes.
Abilities
Farseers can to select a class to be awarded veteran status in
the next round, using the command key (default V).
Tips
Farseers are the only Eldar class that can be equipped with the powerful
psychic weapon that is the Singing Spear.

Guardians
Craftworld's main defence forces are made up of squads of Guardians formed from
groups of normal eldar citizens who fight for their Craftworld in times of
need. Many were once members of the Aspect Warrior shrines and all are well
trained in the arts of war.
Abilities
Guardians can summon follow bots to aid them in combat by using their special
move key (Q).
Tips
Guardians are weak warriors with feeble weaponry, but they get many spawns.

Dire Avengers
At any given point in an Eldar's life he or she will be devoted to a Path. Those
who follow the Path of the Warrior devote themselves to an aspect of their war
god, Khaela Mensha Khaine. The most common of these Aspect Warriors are Dire
Avengers. Highly skilled with their shuriken catapults, they are deadly on the
attack and immovable in defence.
Tips
Dire Avengers are a little tougher than Guardians with slightly more powerful
weapons, but have slightly less spawns.

Swooping Hawks
Swooping hawks use advanced Eldar jump packs that allow them to swiftly move to
anywhere on the battlefield, and strike the enemy with a hail of energy bolts
from their lasblasters. Their wings are an impressive piece of technology that
adds further control to their jump packs and allows greater control of flight
than that of similar human constructions.
Abilities
Swooping Hawks are equipped with jump packs. To use your jump pack to fly, press
the Special Move key [Q]
Tips
Unlike other jump pack classes, Swooping Hawks are not close combat specialists.
Their flight is best used to flit around their slower targets and pelt them
with laser bolts from every angle and flying out of danger, as well as
capturing objectives.

Striking Scorpions
Striking scorpions are close combat specialists who excel in dense terrain. They
use every nook and crevice to get close to the enemy before they attack with
their chainswords that can smash through armour and bone.
Abilities
Striking Scorpians can sprint in order to literally run circles around their
inferior opponents in close combat. To sprint, use the Special Move key [Q]

Wraithlord
The Wraithlord is conceptually a similar machine to a human or ork Dreadnought,
but is technologically leagues ahead. The entire machine is made from the
psychoresonant Eldar contruct known as wraithbone, and is controlled by a
spirit stone containing the soul of a dead Eldar.
Tips
Only the leader of the driver class can become a Warithlord. Wraithlords
are incredibly powerful war machines, but generally will only have one spawn.
Wraithlords are equipped with a ranged weapon and a close combat weapon that
works in the same manner as normal classes' close combat weapons.
Warning
Wraithlords are relatively slow compared to other classes in Rival Species, and
often have limited mobility within maps.

Bright Lance and Power Fist

Jet Bike
Eldar jetbikes use advanced anti-gravity technology to hover a few feet above
the ground. They are sleek and fast vehicles used to strafe or close with the
enemy.
Tips
Jetbikes must be driven using the directional keys. Eldar jetbikes are armed
with twin Shuriken Catapults that may be aimed up and down by the mouse.
Warning: it is very hard to fight from a jetbike! They are best used to strafe
the enemy, or to reach them for close combat before dismounting.
Warning: Players may only re-mount their own jetbike, and no one else's.

Dark Reapers
The heavily armoured Dark Reapers are perhaps the most sinister and lethal of
all the Aspect Warriors: the Aspect of Death. They excel at long range support
and carry the fast-firing Reaper Launcher that shoots a hail of armour-piercing
rockets.
Warning
due to heavy armour and foot stabilisers to help support their rocket launchers,
Dark Reapers cannot move as fast as other Eldar.
